Electrical and Instrument Cables
KGC is a provider of wire and cable products to the offshore oil and gas industry. The design is based on a fire-proof elastometric cable covered with a composite- based protective coating that changes composition when exposed to higher temperatures. (about 1,100°C)
Instrument Cables.
KGC provides both stock and manufacturing solutions for a broad range of offshore and marine specification cables including standard products to BS6883, BS7917, NEK606, IEEE1580, MCGH and IEC60092-3, including options for flame retardant and fire resistant cables to IEC-60332 and IEC-60331.

Lighting Equipment
We supply the widest range of lighting fixtures, electrical fittings, plugs and receptacles, control stations, distribution panels and more. All are manufactured with the highest quality materials. With the addition of ATX product lines and ongoing new product introductions, KGC offers certified protection for any environment, from ordinary commercial settings to hazardous locations (NEC, CEC, IEC, ATEX, and more) and the harshest industrial conditions.
Ex-Ceiling, pendant lights and floodlights are designed for area-illumination at medium/high luminaire installations. Specially used at offshore platforms or within outdoor areas of onshore refineries.
Glands, JB and Terminal Box
KGC cable glands are available in moulded plastic and metal versions.
KGC moulded plastic cable glands have metric screw-in threads. The special advantage of KGC Ex cable glands is the large cable clamping area. Ex- metal cable glands are used for feeding cables into metal or explosion-protected enclosures. The metal glands are also available in a flameproof version and can
be subjected to high mechanical, chemical and thermal loads.
The application posibilities with our Ex-junction and terminal boxes are extremely flexible. Our technology is uder friendly and allows a cost saving instalation.
Emergency and sign luminar and conduit
Ex-Emergency and Signal Luminaires can be adapted to suit the requirements of our customers and can be used for central or local emergency lighting systems in hazardous areas. Robust polycarbonate and aluminium enclosures, an energy-saving LED technology and a high degree of protections are the special characteristics of these luminaires. Also sign luminaires can be used in the various zones of hazardous areas, whether it be Zone 1 or 2.
Single Pole Connectors:
A configurable connector platform with options ranging from high amperage single pole power to multi-conductor control and instrumentation applications.
Pg Steel Conduit Threads are manufactured in accordance with DIN 40430 steel conduit thread dimentions. There is some discussion about replacing the Pg Steel Conduit Thread per DIN 40430 with a 60° version as specified in BS EN 50262 cable glands for electrical instalations and/or DIN EN 50262 metric cable glands for electrical instalations.
